What was previously known at MJR as team meetings took place for the first time last week under the name “Office Week.” Office Week is intended to improve communication and collaboration within the team, as all team members work at the headquarters in Knittlingen for 3-5 days. In addition to two traditional team meetings per year, there will now be one MJR Office Week per year.
Tuesday
On Tuesday, we started as usual with an update from our CEO Michael Raber. He gave an overview of general topics, new projects, and other internal news in his presentation. Jan Philipp then gave us an overview of current customer projects. We spent our lunch break together at the office in Knittlingen, after which the team members had time to work together. We ended the first day with an evening get-together at Il Couco Pazzo in Knittlingen.
Wednesday
On Wednesday, we started with a first aid course at our office. This served as a refresher for the team on topics such as wound care, traffic accidents, and how to respond to sports accidents. Julia from the Knittlingen branch of the German Red Cross guided us through the course with lots of helpful tips and explanations. For lunch, Caro prepared a delicious buffet as a (slightly belated) welcome gift. Thank to Caro!
In the afternoon, a few organizational issues were discussed, and Michael had a very special and important item on the agenda:
honoring some of our team members. We congratulated Demian on his 10th anniversary and Petra on her 15th anniversary at MJR!
Thursday
Thursday was a normal working day for everyone in the office. Starting at 11 a.m., the team consisting of consultants Jan Willem, Patrick, and Yves presented some information about Infor XA. This was followed by a short presentation by Demian about our product Uploadia. Afterwards, we met for lunch at Biberia in Sternenfels.
After that, we officially ended Office Week and everyone was able to return to their daily business or begin their journey home. We hope that we will have more enjoyable meetings with our team in 2026. The dates for these have already been firmly scheduled. So – see you next time!
