Future innovations with Infor XA

The leap into the cloud

A key highlight of the roadmap is XA Cloud Hosting.
In the future, XA will be operated on a dedicated IBM i cloud, combined with Infor OS, ION, and document management. This will provide companies with a highly secure, scalable, and future-oriented platform. Integration into the multi-tenant structure of Infor OS means customers will benefit from continuous updates and seamless expandability.

The move to the cloud means not only technological modernization, but also cost and efficiency advantages: less effort for local IT infrastructure, simplified maintenance, and a clear focus on business processes.

Release 11 Netlink Enhancements

Net-Link is the forward-looking user interface and includes the continuous provision of improvements, performance upgrades, and more. The Infor OS UI features (such as context frames) are only available in Net-Link. All remaining green screens will be displayed by System i Workspace in the future. Power-Link will be retained but will no longer be improved. In Power-Link, all remaining green screens will be displayed by Host-Link.

These innovations are expected to be available as early as the first quarter of 2026:

• XA Output Management
• XML outputs for flexible management, storage and retrieval
• Document storage in Infor Document Management (Infor OS)
• Compatible with advanced document attachments in core XA
• Java 17-Upgrade
• IBMi OS 7.6 Certification
