Our first team meeting of 2026 kicked off this Monday. Here is a short recap:
Monday
The first day of the meeting began in our conference room at the office in Knittlingen.
On 9 am our CEO Michael Raber kicked off the day with his presentation. He gave us an overview of general topics, client projects, and other internal news. Unfortunately, it wasn’t all good news, as two of our colleagues were bid farewell that day and are leaving the company at their own request. The program continued with an update from Account Manager Jan Philipp on several new and existing clients.
After a quick lunch at the office, we headed to Sinsheim. There, we took a stadium tour of TSG Hoffenheim’s soccer stadium in the afternoon. To round off the day, we had dinner together at the Neuer Bahnhof in Sinsheim.
Tuesday
On Tuesday, our team headed to Karlsdorf to visit ForeYou Golf. This is an event venue with a meeting room, where the focus is primarily on golf. In the morning, developers Yusef, Demian, and Carlos provided an overview of the current progress on our first AI projects. Afterward, Tanja gave the team an overview of the results of a recent MJR employee survey and other internal topics.
After lunch, everyone had the chance to play darts, foosball or pool billard at the venue. There was also a simulator where people could practice their golf swing in a realistic setting. The team’s skills varied, though—some were more talented than others. After all, you can’t be equally good at everything… All in all we had two wonderful days together as a team and we’re looking forward to the next event.
