We choose the best for our customers: Impressions of MJR on the Hannover Messe

Checking, testing and applying new, innovative technologies and hardware solutions is all in a day’s work for an IT consultant at MJR. Nevertheless, we decided to visit the international technology trade fair in Hanover in person – and it was great.

It’s hard to say how much time would be needed to really dive deep into the ideas and technologies that companies from all over the world presented there. The energy, the drive for innovation and excellence was palpable in every corner – as was the desire to interact with people whose ideas are often close to research.

In order to take in as much as possible, we focused our attention on Hall 2 – the heart of the fair for start-ups and innovations. Right at the entrance, our interest was piqued by a stand showing a production process based on Fischertechnik and PLC software. Basically, it was a digital 3D twin, called #DigitalTwin, with which production processes could be visualized in real time.

A special moment was the realization that a very similar project was developed internally at MJR – with a dynamic algorithm change, full control over sensors and mechanics as well as bidirectional communication via MQTT and OPC UA to IoT portals & ERP systems. The only difference: our system does not yet have a 3D twin – but we are working on it.

This was followed by a series of exciting discussions with teams that have implemented artificial intelligence in concrete solutions in a special way. We met with some of these companies several times to clarify technical details and specifics.
We were particularly impressed by Industry X.O.’s system for continuous improvement processes (CIPA). We are convinced that this product offers great potential for our customers and can be widely used in real industrial environments.

Also fascinating was the product from 24 VISION from the Czech Republic. This system is already in use at Skoda plants and other companies and performs visual quality checks on products such as car seats. Das System erkennt feine Defekte, Flecken und Kratzer – selbst dort, wo das menschliche Auge versagt. The benefits for many production companies are obvious. We can imagine working together with the 24 VISION team.

Several exhibitors presented software solutions for product labeling in view of the new EU directives that will come into force from 2027. MJR is also working on a streamlined solution that will help our customers to meet these requirements efficiently and in a future-proof manner

We are convinced that the use of automated warehouse technology will significantly speed up our customers‘ order processing, increase safety and drastically reduce typical errors such as incorrect palletizing or product damage.
There were some insights into the integration of modern robot arms and driverless transport systems at the stand of Elite Robots Deutschland GmbH.
Our goal: simple and fast integration into existing production processes. We will test the main models and offer our customers a well thought-out, well-founded solution so that no questions remain unanswered when selecting a manufacturer.

This is just a small selection of the companies we have been in contact with in Hanover – but we are sure that many of these partnerships will offer our customers real added value. It will be a strong year for MJR – full of innovation, technology and tangible solutions.
We will keep you up to date with new developments and share practical application scenarios. We particularly welcome your feedback, critical questions and suggestions – because this is exactly what helps us to become even better and offer you the best.
